Y ENTERTAINMENT

• Incorporated the company in London with a vision of building a global technology business. Established early-stage operations in the city’s creative district, Soho, to develop an entrepreneurial skill set. Later moved to affluent Mayfair to support professionalisation and growth. Subsequently relocated to Liverpool for strategic central UK positioning and fully digitalised the business, laying the groundwork for fully remote operations and future innovations.

• Leading the development of an innovation at the intersection of Web 3.0 technologies. The aim is to build a fintech platform that empowers creatives, starting with fashion designers, by using specialised AI to create digital twins of physical assets, secure them on the blockchain, and commercialise them as phygital assets across XR, VR, and AR. Within our adhocracy culture, we develop technology by progressing through the Technology Readiness Level framework and have secured £50k+ in government grant funding across 6+ projects, primarily for technology development. On the business side, we have delivered 15+ projects involving 113+ students across various initiatives.

• Refined a proprietary AI model through high-performance computing, improving computational efficiency and accelerating production readiness of the digital twin infrastructure.

• Strengthened cyber security standards and operational resilience supporting scalable remote collaboration and protection of proprietary technology.

• Secured support from a Nature-published senior scientific advisor with two PhDs at the UK’s leading national institute for data science and artificial intelligence to support our human-centric AI development initiatives.

• Led a project with a team of 10+ people, including PhD-level scientists and MSc-level computer scientists, at a leading science and technology institute in the UK, to initiate the development of a proprietary AI model capable of converting 2D apparel images into high-fidelity 3D virtual objects. The deliverable was a report providing a comprehensive analysis of the technology stack and a procedure for refining an existing model.

• Led a project with PhD-level computer science researchers to develop environmentally sustainable blockchain infrastructure.

• Led a multidisciplinary project collaboration involving PhD and master’s-level researchers, engineers, computer scientists, a neuroscientist, and a business specialist to develop blockchain-integrated digital infrastructure focused on digital innovation and emerging technologies.

• Coordinated and supervised 113 students across consultancy projects, MBA placements, software engineering, cyber security, accounting, marketing, branding, creative development, and multidisciplinary innovation initiatives, strengthening Y Entertainment’s commercial strategy, operational scalability, and international business development capabilities in support of Shakesphere 3.0.

• Completed a two-day masterclass in data-driven innovation, informing Y Entertainment's proprietary AI model architecture.

• Attended a four-day residential innovation lab organised by Innovate UK KTN, working alongside creative industry peers on AI adoption challenges.

• Participated in an eight-week growth programme alongside 20+ senior leaders from the Liverpool City Region, refining digital strategy, funding, and growth planning. Additionally, established a WhatsApp group to facilitate peer networking beyond the workshops, and contributed perspectives on business support, regional growth, and policy during a roundtable discussion with Liverpool MP Kim Johnson.

• Funding Readiness Programme helped us prepare the company for investment and resulted in the design of a comprehensive pitch deck for Shakesphere 3.0 in Canva. Moreover, the Global Connect Programme, completed twice, resulted in its presentation to four Silicon Valley VCs. Additionally, multiple advisory sessions with professionals from the University of Cambridge Judge Business School and CodeBase were held via the Mentorship Programme, further helping us refine our R&D strategy.

• Strategically relocated the company to Liverpool for a more central UK position to strengthen access to regional, national, and international markets. Eventually, during the COVID-19 pandemic, digitalised the entire business, enabling greater organisational agility, fully remote operations, higher operational efficiency, improved scalability, and enhanced access to international talent.

• Set up operations in Soho, serving high-end members' clubs across Central London's nightlife industry and attracting predominantly HNW/UHNW individuals, professionals from the creative, finance, and other sectors, as well as students from leading institutions. Grew total turnover to £120k+ by year four by relocating to a Regus office in Mayfair, building a 25k+ contact database that included a network of 50+ contractors, securing £20k+ through UK Government apprenticeship schemes, and recruiting internationally through the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs and Leonardo da Vinci programmes.

• Fostering entrepreneurship through collaboration between a new entrepreneur and a host entrepreneur. Supported the exploration of various strategic opportunities for a private driving company.

• Supported London Clubland Ltd, a Leicester Square-based ticket agency operating across 10+ nightlife venues, with ticket sales, digital marketing, and public relations. Applied academic principles of psychology and consumer behaviour to drive customer engagement, while coordinating and managing 50+ customers per night. Developed strong capabilities in stakeholder management and cross-cultural communication within a fast-paced environment.

• Conducted comprehensive research involving a highly selective sample (N=34) of basketball players from the former Yugoslavia, renowned for winning multiple medals at the Olympic Games, World Cups, and European Championships. Psychometric analyses using SPSS and Excel involved an in-depth examination and interpretation of various personality characteristics measured by Cattell's 16PF questionnaire and explored their relationship with sustained high-level athletic achievement, career length, playing position, and generational affiliation. The results subsequently formed the basis of my diploma thesis.

• Supported a female-led sustainability startup by redistributing surplus food through the OLIO mobile app, onboarding 10+ local businesses, and helping coordinate 20+ volunteer groups via the app and WhatsApp groups to reduce food waste.

• Completed early-stage startup training, with multiple lectures on funding, marketing, operations and fireside chats with leading Slovenian technology entrepreneurs, which subsequently all helped me build on my academic psychology background and integrate it into applied entrepreneurial thinking.

• Attended the 6th Annual International Leadership Programme and received a Certificate of Recognition for productive participation alongside global youth leaders, subsequently helping shape a globally minded, diverse, and inclusive company culture at Y Entertainment. Programme activities encompassed a visit to the United Nations Headquarters, including the main General Assembly Hall, in New York City.

• Participated in the Centre International de Formation Européenne academic programme, "The Relations Between Europe and North America", examining transatlantic policy, economic, and cultural ties, and developing the geopolitical perspective that later informed my company’s international expansion strategy.
